The library can be many things to each individual who steps foot in a library. It can be a place for learning new things and research. It can bring out our imagination and help us realize our dreams. The Library environment can be quiet, safe and supportive. A Library supports us to explore imaginary worlds or reflect on pasts events (either through non fiction/historical accounts or fictional retellings/historical fiction) The library gives us access to resources and information for several purposes. The library environment and staff encourage reading and literacy skills.
